Ahh...is Summer really gone? Does school really start in just hours? We had a fun day today, spending a few hours at the pool with ice cream after. The kids had a blast in the pool (as always), loving the escape from 90 plus degrees. Then we got ice cream at their favorite ice cream store...the one that has Spiderman "ice cream" (frozen ice that has gumball eyes...ewww). They both fell asleep watching a movie at home tonight...totally exhausted.
Tomorrow's the big day. Abigail's school starts at 8:25. We "practiced" eating from a lunch box today...what to throw away, take home, etc. Funny, huh? It was good for her though. She is so excited and picked out her own outfit tonight to wear.
Henry has school from 10:00-11:00 tomorrow. Just an hour to get aquainted with the teacher, class, routines, etc. I'm going with him for that hour, so that should make him happy. :)
At night we have a birthday party for my niece, Sylvie. She turned 2 today! Should be a fun, busy day! I'll be back tomorrow with pictures of their first day. Good luck to everyone starting school tomorrow!

Henry still loves this float...gives him freedom to swim! :)
Abigail has come SO far in her swimming this year!

It would NEVER occur to me to practice with my child HOW to eat from a lunch box!
