Enjoying a Day at the Park

Today we went to the Jim Kaat Baseball Park. The kids had a great time! We met Marci and Carson there and went on the swings, played with chalk and ate lunch. The kids did great until it was time to go - they wanted to stay all afternoon!

Henry

Henry's doing great! After 3 shots of antibiotics before we left on our cruise, he finally turned the corner right before we left. He seems to be fully over the nasty ear infection and will hopefully stay that way! He also had 4 top teeth pop through in the past 2 weeks, so things were pretty miserable. Even with all that...he still smiles...all the time! Here's a recent picture of him, 11 months old already!

Back From Our Cruise

We are home! We returned Sunday from our weeklong cruise. It was absolutely wonderful! Everything about the week was great, we had beautiful weather, the ship was awesome and it was great to spend time with the family. Of course we missed the kids, but both of us felt that we did a lot better than we thought we would. Abigail and Henry had a great time with Sue, Danielle, Lois and Andy. I think that Henry missed us more than Abigail since he has been a cuddle-bug since we got home. This is a picture of our ship, Adventure of the Seas, and Colin and I in Antigua after a little shopping.

Henry Update

Well...Henry's still not feeling so great. He woke up this morning crabby (very out of character for him) and with a fever. My dad gave him ear drops and he also got a shot of antibiotics. He'll get this shot every day until we leave on our cruise. Hopefully this will help him feel better! The poor little guy!

Henry's Ear and Getting Ready to Leave

Henry has had an ear infection for about a month now. He has been on three different types of antibiotics and it isn't getting any better. It's crazy because he didn't have any ear infections until this one started. Tomorrow he's going to probably get a shot and some ear drops from my dad to hopefully help things along.

We are getting ready to go on our cruise. It's been stressful around here trying to get the house, kids and us ready for leaving. We can't wait though...only a couple of more days and Colin and I will be taking our first vacation sans kids in about 3 years...ahhh!
