Our Family Christmas, December 24th

After sleeping with her presents for 3 nights, Abigail FINALLY got to open them!

Chicago!

A couple of weeks ago, Abigail, Rebecca, my mom and I went to Chicago for the day. Our first stop was the American Girl Place where Abigail got a new Bitty Baby. She picked out Mallory dressed in a princess outfit (shocking, right?). Next we went to the Thomas store at Water Tower and Abigail rode the train twice, strapping Mallory in next to her if possible. Grandma then took Abigail to the children's museum at Navy Pier where they met up with Joel while Rebecca and I shopped. After dinner and dessert with Joel and Kelly we headed home and Abigail crashed in her carseat. We had a blast!

Critter Barn

After seeing Santa we went to the Critter Barn where they have a live Nativity and tons of baby animals. We tried to give the kids both sides of Christmas in one night! :)

Henry screamed when he saw Santa...Abigail loved him. :)

The Butler and Henry

My parents have had this butler for as long as I can remember. Abigail loves to check if he has candy on his tray every time she goes to my parents' house. Henry just figured this out recently so he loves to check for fruit snacks and mini marshmellows. Last night he was going back and forth between the toys and butler cracking me up!

Indoor Fun

We went to Westshore Mall today with Anita, Beatrice and Sylvie. About the only good thing left there is the small play area for the kids. This was the first time we had been there in a long time and Abigail loved it! She was climbing all over the place like a little gymnist! In the third picture she is hanging upside down, then she would flip over - loved it! Hanks loved the tunnels and boat the best!

Henry's Christmas Gift

Henry got an early Christmas gift yesterday. My friend, Kelly, owns Petunias and made him a HUGE "fluffy" blanket. He has a couple small fluffys and loves them so I thought it would be fun to get him a big one for Christmas. He loves it!

Christmas Pictures

These are some of the Christmas pictures I had taken at Target. I'm not thrilled with them, but happy with how their little personalities show through! The first one will be on our Christmas card. :)

Henry with Yogurt

Henry eats yogurt at least once a day. He does great feeding himself. On Monday he thought he was being funny and put it in his hair! He thought he was hilarious! I probably encouraged it a bit when I went to get the camera. I knew it would be a fun page to scrap though!

Henry Walking

Henry has been walking a lot in the past 2 days. I even captured a little on camera today. It's pretty short because all the other video I was holding the camera the other way and don't know if I can rotate a movie! :) You can view the short walk here.
