We have so much to be thankful for! What a great week we had! We started our crainess by spending time with Great-grandma Zeek for her 87th birthday. We also tried to spend as much time as possible with Brett while he was here from Boston. Abigail could hardly wait for T-Bone to come home from U of M, so she's been loving teasing him! Joel and Kelly were able to stay for a couple of days and Henry fell in love with their Schnoodle dog, Harry. We also got to meet a distant cousin, Lily, who was adopted by Colin's cousin, Becky. Isn't she gorgeous! In between all of that we went to church, had 2 Thanksgiving dinners and I shopped all day Friday! What a fun week!

Abigail is in trouble...Hank figured out how to get her back after dealing with her pestering for 16 months!

Playing with Trains

Henry loves to play with his Brio and Thomas trains! He loves to have one in each hand most of the day unless he's pushing them around on the ground or the train table. It's so fun to watch him play!

Update on Henry

Finally after 3 weeks, we got an appointment for Henry at DeVos. It's much sooner than we expected, January 12 at 9:00 am. Tomorrow Henry will be 16 months. At the time of that appointment he will be almost 18 months.

Thanks for all of the prayers and verbal support. Hanks has made huge progress over the past three weeks, but still isn't walking or talking. In the past two days he has started to do the "monkey crawl" where his legs are straight and his hands are still on the ground. Maybe that's getting him closer to walking???

Please continue to pray for us, we definitely feel it. He's got just less than two months to walk...I have full faith that he will.

Nasty, Nasty, Nasty

This is Abigail's favorite dress in the whole world. It's a dress-up dress from Uncle Haans, Aunt Anita and Bebe for her birthday. She calls it her "Princess Dress" or "Cinderella Dress." She wears it every day. Nasty. It's falling apart at all the hems and on the shoulder straps. It's too big on her and looks hilarious. Did I mention that she wears it EVERY DAY? She gets up in the morning and changes into it before she leaves her room. She only wears certain underwear with it too. Sunday night I hid it so she wouldn't wear it. Monday morning she came in my room crying because she couldn't find it. It's nasty, nasty. At least she knows she can't leave the house in it!

We'll have to wait...

On Christmas pictures that is. I was hoping to get the kids' pictures taken early next week. Yesterday, though, Hanks was jumping in his crib and then fell back and knocked his head somewhere on the crib. He had a mighty big goose egg that has now turned purple. Lovely.
It actually looks a lot worse in person!

Halloween Fun!


We had lots of fun on Halloween! Abigail wasn't too sure about her Nemo costume until we went to one house and she figured out what Halloween is all about! Henry was the cutest monkey in the world and was really happy as long as there was an apple or sucker nearby!
