Johanna at THREE months

Johanna was three months last Thursday. I cannot believe how time is flying...more this time around than the other two! She has been quite sick over the past two weeks, diagnosed with an ear infection, Croup, RSV, Pneumonia and Thrush. Poor baby! She started a good antibiotic last week and is doing much better now. She still sounds congested, but has since birth, so she may be referred to a lung specialist at some point in the near future.

Because of her doctor appointments we know that she is about 10 pounds, 8 ounces right now. That puts her in about the 5th percentile...she's a peanut still! She wears 0-3 month clothes, but I'm starting to put her in the 3-6 month size because she has a bunch of summer stuff in that size. She's in size 1 diapers. She loves to be held. A lot. But she also likes her playmat and swing and is starting to grab at toys hanging on the playmat especially.

We love her more and more every day!
You can see her two month picture HERE and one month HERE.

Abigail's Dance Recital

For Abby's birthday last year my parents gave her dance lessons. She took them this year at Turning Pointe, taking their Creative Dance class. She really enjoyed the class and learned a lot! Her program was a couple of weeks ago and was really cute. Each class learns a bible verse and then also does their dance to a Christian song...it's very neat! She looked adorable and had a great day!

Bunk Beds

We found bunkbeds, mattresses, a nightstand, dresser, desk, hutch and chair on Craigslist and bought them for Henry's room. They are in excellent condition and the kids LOVE them! Abby has been sleeping on the top bunk since we bought them. One night I went to check on them and Henry wasn't in his bed...I found him sleeping in the top bunk with Abigail and a bunch of toys :)

::Bad Blogger::

I have gone quite a stretch without blogging! I really don't even have time for much now. Things have been REALLY busy! Johanna has been super sick...currently she has an ear infection, RSV, croup, thrush and blocked tear ducts. Poor little baby. She's been to the doctor twice, been on lots of meds and will be getting a chest x-ray next. Ugh. We are leaving for New York City on Thursday so I'm hoping she really turns a corner before then or it will be an interesting trip!

Abby and Henry are loving summer so far. This week Abigail is taking an art class (she took the same one last year) and she loves it! We've done lots of parks, playing outside and going to the pool. Lovin' it!

I'll post more later...I promise!

Good-Bye Kindergarten

When did this happen? When did Abigail grow up? Today was her last day of kindergarten....she is officially a first grader. She had an amazing year with the most amazing teacher possible. I really cannot believe all she learned this year and how much she has grown...it's truly awesome. We are so proud of her!

Field Day

Last Friday Abigail had Field Day at school. I have great memories of Field Day at Rose Park many years ago! Her class had a great time...they were so cute! Sack Races

::Broken::

Today I feel broken. It's been a hard day. The kids fought this morning like something I couldn't believe...all before 8:00 am. It's Abigail's last day of kindergarten. That in itself could bring A tear to my eye, but the fact that she isn't returning to that Christian school that I love next year makes me sob. It's tough.

I'm struggling with remaining positive with something else in my life. Struggling with feeling needed in the same area. I'm tired. And maybe a little grumpy. And don't think any of it's fair.

I feel better putting it down "on paper" even through tears.

And now...back to your regularly scheduled Abigail, Henry and Johanna blog.
