Abigail is now 2 1/2 and still ADDICTED to her pacifier! She's really only supposed to have them in the car and in bed, but I have to admit, we haven't been as strict with that as we should. Any advice on how to get rid of them for good?

PACIFIERS
Abigail is now 2 1/2 and still ADDICTED to her pacifier! She's really only supposed to have them in the car and in bed, but I have to admit, we haven't been as strict with that as we should. Any advice on how to get rid of them for good?
Valentine's Day, part 2
These pictures are of the kids with their presents from Grandma Rita for Valentine's Day. Grandma knitted Abigail the red poncho, which she loves because it's "Elmo red." Henry got more pieces to his growing Thomas the Tank Engine set. For now he is more content chewing on the box than anything else!

Visiting Shedd Aquarium

On Friday, Feb. 17, my mom, my sister, Abigail and I went to Chicago to the Shedd Aquarium. We had such a fun time! Abigail was wonderful all day and it was so fun to watch her full of amazement and wonder as she saw all the fish. Her favorites of the day were the dolphins, clown fish and seahorses. I think she also loved having dinner with Uncle JoJo and Aunt Kelly because she hasn't stopped talking about them!

Preschool
Last night I signed Abigail up for preschool at Rose Park Christian in the fall. She'll go to Three-school two days a week for two hours each time. I think it will be great for her! She'll love the time with other kids and I'll love that she'll be learning and getting more structure! She's been talking about school a lot lately (not that I really think she knows what it is), especially since Elmo was all about it this morning! I told Colin I can't wait to take her school shopping!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We made cookies the other day for Valentine's Day, but they haven't lasted that long! Abigail loved punching out the heart shapes (gotta love the pre-made dough!) and licking all of the frosting. Henry loved watching us from his exersaucer and laughing. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Love, Abigail and Henry

GR Children's Museum

Today we went to the GR Children's Museum with my friend Marci and her almost-2-year-old son, Carson. Abigial really likes playing with "Carsey" and they had a great time! The kids were so good and probably could have played all day! We have playdates set up for them once a week through March. Yeah!

Sibling Love
Abigail and Henry really seem to love each other...most of the time. Abigail has really adjusted to having a little brother and doesn't demand any more attention than she always has! She loves to hug Henry, even when he really isn't into it. Henry loves Abby too. He smiles at her all the time and watches everything that she does. I hope they grow up to be best of friends!Abigail is 2 1/2...and BUSY!
Abigail is so busy every day! Here she is with her most recent favorite things: Kermit, Miss Piggy, a Muppets dvd and a sucker. Every day is busy as we try to stay busy by going swimming, playing at the mall, coloring and playing with friends. Abby is really growing big and talking all the time (I think she takes after Aunt Rebecca).Henry is Growing Up!
Here is one of Henry's 6 month pictures. He's still happy almost all of the time! His first tooth popped through on the bottom on Sunday, so that has made him a little more fussy than usual. Lately, his favorite activities include eating cereal, putting anything in his mouth and hanging out with Mom and Abigail at the Aquatic Center.Welcome!
Welcome to our blog! This will be a very easy way to keep you updated on Abigail and Henry. They are continuing change every day! Enjoy!
