Enjoy this slideshow of Henry's last day of his pacifier. Yes, he's almost 3. Yes, he's had a pacifier for something like 1000+ days. Yes, I'd probably do it again the same way. :) We took him to "Build-a-Bear" and let him put it in an animal that he chose. My kids never go there so this was big stuff. He did awesome and was so proud. It's now 10:38 and he's quiet...for the first time in almost an hour. It's going to be a long night tonight. And probably tomorrow. And the next night...ugh.

You are a BRAVE mom. Sadie has 1 left that is in shreds really, but she sucks away. I tried to take it away once and she cried for 20 minutes, so I gave it back. I am a wimp!!!!! I dread the day!
Great idea! I'm dreading taking Eden's, even though she only uses it for sleeping... but still. Sleeping is important. :) Let me know how it goes!
This is an awesome idea! I'm with the other Mom that wants to know if you can put your child's thumb in an animal?! Hope each night gets easier.
