Labor Day Weekend

 We had a great Labor Day Weekend relaxing before heading back to school this week. On Sunday we decided to head up to Silver Lake for the day. The kids had a great time on the dunes, tubing and playing in the water. It got crazy busy in the mid-afternoon so we headed back to the condo. The kids wanted to go to Craig's Cruisers for one last day of summer fun. Abigail and Henry played some games but Johanna chose to go on the go-karts. They are her FAVORITE! She absolutely loves going on them and can't wait until next year when she can at least drive the little ones herself.

 

After Craig's Cruisers we headed back for one last snowcone of the summer. Grandpa's snowcone machine sure has been a hit! The kids (and moms) love a snowcone after a hot day!

After dinner Grandpa and Grandma took all of the kids to the strip mall and let them pick out a Silver Lake t-shirt. What fun! The kids were excited to put them on when we got back. We attempted a picture of the five kids with their shirts but I only had my phone and with all of the moving they (mostly Luke) were doing I only got blurry pics. I did get two decent pics of the kids with my parents though.

What a wonderful day! We took it easy on Monday with beach time, shopping time and dinner and ice cream with friends. Tuesday was a work day for mom and dad but the kids enjoyed one last day before heading back to school today!
