Slip and Slide!

Another item on our Summer To-Do List was to play on a Slip and Slide. Yes, we've owned the cheap ones in the past. Yes, they are fun. For a bit. They seem to tear easily and aren't very wide. We've had grass burns from sliding off the narrow tarp. SO...I took a trip to Menards. Here's what I came home with:
A roll of black 3mm painter's plastic. It was 12' x 25'
Tent stakes

Then I got the hose out along with some dish soap and we went to work. We put the tarp out in the yard but didn't even unfold it the whole way! It was a total of 6'x25'. We put the sprinkler on and put dish soap on the tarp.

Then we had FUN!

 This little one was a little apprehensive at first and preferred to sit on her dad's lap...

 but that didn't last long! She got right in the middle of things!
