Happy New Year 2009!

Happy New Year to everyone! Another year in the past, hopefully a great year in the future! I'm thinking and hoping that 2009 will be a great year for us...especially in March! I realize that I didn't officially tell my blog friends which name we have decided upon for our daughter arriving by March 17 (yes, we have a c-section scheduled for St. Patrick's Day at this point!). We are 100% sure that our newest daughter will be named Johanna Mathilda Mulder. I really wanted to name her Mathilda or "Mattie," but Colin wasn't sold on it. It's my Grandma's name and I really love her and wanted to honor her. We decided the middle name was also honoring her and Colin and I were both okay with that. We threw out many names, but really weren't sold on anything and nothing hit us as "YES!" like it did with Abigail until I asked him if he liked Johanna. He said "Yeah. Yeah, I really do. Yeah." That was confirmation enough for me! I love the old feel of it, love how it sounds with Abigail and Henry and love that it can still be shortened since I do tend to do that. Rebecca says she'll call her Joey, I may call her Anna or Annie, but she'll definitely be Johanna. I'm in love with it and can't imagine in just over ten weeks we'll be "Colin, Bethany, Abigail, Henry and Johanna Mulder." Whoa.

And for Becky...is that Eden's middle name? As I typed this I thought it may be?? :) But I could be way off!

Happy New Year to all!

It IS Eden's middle name! Are you pronouncing it "jo HAHN uh?" Perfect... perfect! I love it. My cousin married a girl by that name. also, and she often goes by Hahna. So beautiful.
