Speech

Henry is officially finished with his speech classes through Early On. He has four classes this summer, but his regular school year is finished and we've had a conference about what to do next. This program has been incredible. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone thinking your child might need a little extra help. Henry has made incredible progress in the past year and we credit Early On for a lot of it. He love, loves his teachers and they love him, which is important for a parent to see...it's obvious there.
Today he had "Barn Day" at the OAC for a last day event. He was confused why he wasn't going to his regular church for speech, but had a blast once we got there. They had bubbles, a sand table, tunnels, face painting, fishing, horse rides and a bunch of other stuff. Both kids loved it! We'll miss Becky, Jan, Katie, Becky and Kellie and can't wait to see them this summer!

Henry is enrolled for preschool in the fall at HC. The advantage of putting him there is that they can offer him speech services there. Whoo-hoo! His current teachers thought he should have some kind of continuing speech so this works perfectly. Now he just needs to be potty-trained...

Yeah Henry!! Don't you hate potty training? So far, it is the "parenting" thing I dislike the most. Josh has NO interest and could care less if his diapers are dirty...
