PACIFIERS

Abigail is now 2 1/2 and still ADDICTED to her pacifier! She's really only supposed to have them in the car and in bed, but I have to admit, we haven't been as strict with that as we should. Any advice on how to get rid of them for good?

DON'T. that is my advice. Sam only gets his in bed, and LONG car rides and we are very strict about it. We took it away for a week and it was awful. Brochure from dentist said it wasn't a big deal as long as the deal as long as they don't suck really hard- also said pacifier was better than thumb, and that most kids will give it up on their own. That is what the ladies I work with said too- give him time... He needs it for comfort now...he will give it up on his own...WE WILL SEE!!

Ya know what I think? Just take it away from her. If she has a really big fit than just put a Kermit movie in! Or just start talking about Elmo. Just be strict and take it away :) And if that doesn't work - nothing will :) hahahahaha Dont I have awesome advice?!?!?

Let her have it - it will keep her away from the vaseline and
mascara!! :)
