::exhaustion::

We're home. We're tired. No, not tired as much as simply exhausted. We left Friday night at 6:45 and pulled in the driveway at 2:05 today. The ride was good; the kids did well, the weather was fine (some rain, but not much) and Colin and I stayed awake. We had a wonderful week! It's great to be home as well though.
I have a few hundred pictures between the ones I took and the ones Lois and my mom took, but instead of showing them ALL to you I just picked a few favorites. The kids LOVED the water, both the ocean and the pool. Abigail would probably pick the ocean first, Henry the pool. He had no fear of the water, leaping into the pool, even if we weren't ready! Abigail loved running into the waves and picked up a few hundred shells (many of which came home to Michigan with us). It was a fun week to spend with family. It's very cool that my family and Colin's family can do something like that and have fun together...I know not every family has that kind of relationship, so we are truly blessed.
Now, back to reality. Mail, bills, wash, school, meetings, work, etc...but first...some sleep.

Found someone!

To "share" internet with that is...thank you, Bowens232 for your help! It's extremely limited unless I'm sitting at a specific spot by the pool, near their room (room 232 I have discovered). So, posting will definitely be limited, but it's fun to post a bit.

We're having a wonderful time. I love the arrangement Colin and I have...I get to sleep in and hang out by the pool, he gets to golf. Fun times for us both. The kids are having an absolute blast. The first day Henry was freaked of the beach...he thought the shells were bugs. He also didn't want to go in the big pool. Now he loves to play in the sand and LEAPS off the edge into the big pool to daddy. Abigail has been loving jumping to me and could play in the ocean all day. She loves, loves the waves and shells.

Last night we (Colin, Rebecca and I) went into Orlando. First we shopped at the outlets for a bit and then went to Downtown Disney. We bought a couple of little things for the kids and then met our friends Fulton's Crab House. We met Lindsay and Jon and Lindsay's sister Jordan and her husband, Dan, as well as their parents. It was a wonderful time! The food was amazing and the company was great. It was such a blast to all hang out together. Seems funny, but Lindsay was the first person I met when I moved to Holland 22 years ago and here we are wonderful friends to this day. It was so fun to hang out with them all!

Today was another beach day...an absolutely gorgeous day. We're loving every minute!

Florida!

Florida is wonderful! We made good time driving down, the kids did great and it's been beautiful most of the time here (it's raining now though). I don't have internet access at the condo...can you imagine how difficult that is for me??? Anyway, I'm sitting in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot, so you just get a couple of quick pictures. I hope to come back here and post again soon. :)

So Busy...

It's been so busy at the Mulder House that I haven't had any time to blog! My weekends have been exhausting lately because we are so busy at work. I work Friday nights until usually 1:30 am or so and then Saturday nights until at least midnight. I'm sooo tired come Sunday! And then this Sunday I went to Birch Run with three friends from work for a little shopping get-away. We had lots of fun! We had a great lunch together (without kids - yay!) and then found some good deals at the outlets. It was a fun day, but I was SO beat Sunday night, especially since I drove both ways. I need to catch up on sleep before the big 20 hour drive to Florida starting on Thursday! :)

Yesterday morning I had a conference with Abigail's teacher. It was just a routine conference, but we have had some concerns regarding her social interaction with other kids, friends, etc. so it came at a good time. She has a great teacher this year who was very receptive to my concerns and also had some ideas and suggestions for us. Overall it went very well. Abigail had a dentist appointment after school...thank God she was better than last time!

Now the week just consists of getting ready for Florida! I had a big Target run yesterday (saved $50+ just in coupons, more if you include the sales) to get a lot of things we need for the trip and now it's just trying to get everyone packed. The panic feeling is starting to set in...

Have a great week...can't promised a post before we leave, but I will try!

Abigail's Easter Accessory

Happy Easter! Just a short post here because it's been a long day. The kids looked adorable today in their Easter clothes and we had a wonderful day with family.

Abigail did have one additional Easter accessory today. When Colin and I were at work yesterday and my mom was baby-sitting Abigail was dancing around (like always) and fell, hitting her head on the bricks by the fireplace. Long story short, she has 6 stitches right on her forehead. She insisted on wearing a Scooby Doo band-aid and her hospital bracelet today. Very nice. We'll laugh at the pictures for years I'm sure!

Busy week this week...I'll try to check in later!
