Quick Update from HOT Florida

Hi Everyone! I finally got some internet access here in Florida! It's been gorgeous and hot here and we are having a blast! The kids are loving every minute - Abigail LOVES the ocean and spends hours down there, Henry prefers the pool...not the kiddie pools, but the big ones! Tomorrow we head to Disney. It's going to be 85 degrees, so we'll be cooking, but we'll be loving it! Enjoy the pictures (I think between Lois and I we have like 500+ pics so far!)

Ready or not...

We are getting ready to leave! We actually won't get on the road until about 7:00 tonight (and that's Mulder time, so probably more like 8:00!) to head to Chicago. Our plane leaves tomorrow morning about 7:45 I think. Henry woke up this morning with a fever and has been just sitting on my lap most of the day...ugh! Hopefully he feels better after his nap today. I got a couple of things finished when my mom came over for a bit today (thanks, mom!), but still have a ton to do. I can't wait though...vacation is soooo close!

Have a great week everyone!

Cinderella and Hanks the Bruiser

Abigail and Bebe dressed up in their Cinderella dresses complete with glass slippers yesterday and played outside. We decided Abigail looks like "Prom Cinderella" and Bebe like "Hooker Cindy." Love it! Henry bit it bad on the cement and we got a nice big bruise in the middle of his forehead. Won't that be cute in the Florida pics?

Photos and shopping :)

What a gorgeous day! High 60s at least here today, yesterday got into the 70s! Get's me really ready for Florida! I'm glad that the Spring Breakers staying here in Michigan are getting some nice weather too! Yesterday we went to church in the morning and then to my parents' house for lunch. The day was so gorgeous so we went outside for awhile. Abigail and Henry ran around, stole the bocce balls in the middle of a game and also had fun riding the roadster. It was wonderful to get fresh air! Later that night we took a family walk for almost 2 miles. I mostly held Gracie's leash, Abigail, aka Princess Cinderella, rode in the wagon, aka her royal coach, Henry pulled the wagon (probably for about a half a mile total) and Colin helped push the wagon a bit. We probably looked like a traveling circus!

I did a little shopping yesterday and today. Yesterday I bought Abigail a new princess dress. She's been talking about wanting a Cinderella dress for awhile. I thought it would be fun to have her where one in Disney since I hear that tons of the little girls wear them. And I could NOT have her wear the NASTY dress, could I? I actually found this adorable dress at TJ Maxx for $15! No, that's not Abigail wearing the dress! :)

Today Henry and I did some shoe shopping for the poor boy. He has NO shoes to wear in Florida so I thought we better get some! He still has the fat, wide baby foot, so it's hard a lot of the time just to buy cheap shoes since they are too narrow. We headed downtown to The Outpost and ended up getting him two pairs of shoes. He got these silver Crocs for $12. I wasn't planning to buy him Crocs and I definitely wasn't planning on buying him silver ones, but for $12...why not? Then I also got him some adorable Tevas. I figured those would be good since they would last him awhile since he could just wear them looser if they got too tight. The width isn't a big deal then either. Here are pics of the adorable shoes...Hanks thinks he is pretty hot stuff for sure!I was looking at old Florida pics and can't believe how much the kids have grown! Side note: This is the first time we've gone to Florida that I haven't been pregnant or nursing...lovin' it! End side note. Here are two pics from last year. I'm so excited that Lois has finally gone mostly digital...now I'll have a ton (and I mean A TON) more pics from our trip this year!

Alright time to go...another busy day tomorrow...Abigail has school, I have a foot doctor appointment, lunch with my mom, Colin has conferences again, I hope to squeeze in a pedicure...oh and I should probably start packing! I will leave you with one more photo of Abigail from Sunday...she sure is weird. Bye!
