Surgery Day

Cutest little thing in the world!


This is after a dose of "loopy" medicine.



Everything went great! We were at the hospital at 6:30 and Henry was doing great. At 7:10 they gave him Tylenol and "loopy medicine." They called it the "I don't care that I'm leaving mom and dad medicine." Colin and I were cracking up as he crawled around the crib, falling over every couple of minutes and having trouble keeping his mouth closed! So funny! At 7:30 he went for the surgery and was finished in 15 minutes. He came back to us crying really hard, but they told us to expect that. By 8:30 we got the okay to go home. He's been fine this afternoon, more tired than normal, but that's to be expected.

Henry's Surgery

I just got a call from the hospital saying that Henry's surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am tomorrow. That means that we have to be there at 6:30 am!! The hardest part will be that he cannot have anything to eat or drink after midnight tonight and he does like a bottle when he wakes up in the morning. I'm sure he'll do fine though! We'll have an update on here when we get home tomorrow. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!

President Abigail

This morning Abigail found Colin's President Bush mask from last Halloween. She put it on (with her mittens too!) and was wearing it around the house. Funniest thing I've seen!

Abigail's First Day

Abigail's first day of preschool was last Friday. She only went for an hour and the parents stayed too. It was so cute to watch her with the other kids! I couldn't believe how quiet and well behaved she was!
