Ballet Class

Seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen! I was a little surprised (and disappointed) when the teacher said the parents had to wait in the hall during the class. She left the door open though and we took pictures! Too bad Abigail had her back to us most of the time. Still adorable though!

Henry's Ears

After 3+ months battling with ear infections, Henry will have tubes put in next Thursday, September 14. He will be one of the first patients in the morning at Holland Hospital. I can't wait for him to feel better and probably hear better as well!

A Week of Firsts...

A Busy Week of Firsts...

~Colin's first day teaching middle school art...so far, so good

~Abigail's first trip to the dentist. She did awesome! They did write in her chart that she is "wiggly" though! Uh...yeah!

~Abigail's first day of dance class with be tomorrow, Thursday, at 3:45. Pictures to follow.

~Abigail's first day of school is Friday. I go with her just for an hour. So fun! Pictures to follow.

Weekend in Chicago

We decided last minute to head to Chicago Saturday after Colin was done with work and stay over night. We stayed in Northbrook and then Sunday packed it in! We went to the Land of Nod outlet, Northbrook Court Mall (Abigail loved the Lego store), Trader Joes, Kohl Children's Museum, and Navy Pier. We did it all with Joel which was tons of fun! Abigail loves seeing him and we just don't get to enough. Henry loved the hotel and playing on the big bed. The Museum was incredible! There were a million things to do for Abigail and they even had areas for kids 18 months and under so Henry got to play safely also. At Navy Pier Abby, Joel and I rode the ferris wheel. Abigail wasn't scared at all! I think the best part of her day was the Dippin' Dots she got though!

Little Miss Sylvie Mae

We have a new niece and cousin, Sylvie Mae Mulder. She was born to Haans and Anita on September 1. Isn't she adorable?
