Updates

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers regarding Henry. The Upper GI showed everything is quite normal with just a little bit of reflux. He hasn't thrown up since Thursday, so I think things are okay now. I'm still a little nervous about him puking on some business man on the flight to Florida, but hopefully he'll be okay!

Abigail is doing awesome without her pacifier, we are really proud of her. She really is paci-free now. Yeah!

Henry

Henry has been sick since last Saturday throwing up at least once a day. This major projectile vomit (sorry!) has been happening usually 30 minutes or so after he eats baby food. He went to the doctor today and they ordered an Upper GI on him. Hopefully we will get the done tomorrow to see what's happening to my little boy. The doctor thinks it may be that the muscle right by the stomach is too narrow to let food pass. There are treatments, but first we have to see what the problem is. We appreciate your prayers for Henry. Thanks!

Pacifiers...part 2

Last night Abigail slept without a pacifier for
the first time since she was 5 days old!

We didn't really plan to make that the night to take it away, it just happened. Abigail went to the mall with Grandma Rita and Rebecca last night and after Grandma dropped her off we realized she didn't have a pacifier (and of course we couldn't find any other ones either!) I decided it was time for the "Paci-Princess" to visit (thank you, Super Nanny!). After we talked about it for a long time, Abby went to bed crying for 30-45 minutes, but then hardly a peep all night! She woke up once and it was a little tough to get her back to sleep, but she did it! She knew that the Paci-Princess would leave her a present if she gave her all of her pacis, so I was looking for a Play-doh set last night at Meijer at 11:00pm! She was so excited to find her present this morning and played with it for 45 minutes. I just put her down for her nap (with a little water-downed juice...baby-steps here) and haven't heard a peep out of her. We'll see what happens, but for now we are very proud of her!

Henry, the Passive Pacifist

Henry received this shirt from Uncle Joel and Aunt Kelly for Christmas. It's definitely one of my favorite shirts! If you look close, you may be able to see Henry's two new bottom teeth.

Abigail and Reddi-Wip

Abigail's favorite food lately is whipped cream! She especially likes Reddi-Wip!
